Book Review: A Christmas Prayer by Amy Parker Illustrated by Marijan Ramlijak

A Christmas Prayer by Amy Parker illustrated by Marigan Ramljak

What a cute Christmas book. The soft illustrations of the book added to the tone of thanks that the book conveyed. A child on Christmas eve wanders around his home giving thanks, not that the next day is Christmas and presents will be received, but for the reason the family celebrates Christmas and gives gifts.

My Boys enjoyed asking questions as to why the child was thanking so many for Christmas. An especially nice part was when the child in the book thanked the donkey that carried Mary and Joesph to the manger. So many little things are over looked on Christmas when giving thanks to Mary and God for Jesus. It was so nice to share a book with my children that thanked even the smallest action that lead to Christmas including the very donkey that carried them.

The book it's self is a sturdy board book with a soft cover. Perfect for storing away and braking out at Christmas as a Christmas tradition book. No worry about it getting yellowed or smashed in with any of your other Christmas decorations that the book would be stored with.
